HVAC TECH

Came on time. Very polite and helpful. Got the job done in a timely manner with a pleasant attitude. He also checked my CO2 detector to be sure it was still working. When at the Northampton Home he helped change a battery in the smoke alarm and recommended we install a CO2 detector. I thought that was very thoughtful. I am very pleased.

Very good and QUICK!

Isaac got to us not much more than 2 hours after I called, and this was after regular business hours. Got us repaired and cool air starting to blow in short order. It would’ve been a miserable night without his help! Very professional and friendly.

AC not cooling after it had a pre-summer checkup.

At first the tech said I needed to have freon added for $149. and also cost of a diagnosis call, $89.99. I told him I had already a diagnosis call and nothing was indicated as being needed and his office had said that there would be no charge for the diagnosis. I told him I would think on the freon. Brandon called back and said he went ahead and added nine oz. of freon and wouldn't charge for the diagnosis call. There was no charge for the service. That restored my faith in Interstate and the owners, Kai and Jamie.

Jake Kring. 02-24-25. I arrived for a tune up on roof top systems. I inspected the units and found the front south east system has a fracture in the heat exchanger and this is causing the system to have a flame role out when the blower motor cycles on. This can also leak carbon monoxide into the air stream. I recommend to replace this system due to age and condition.

Came out to call for a system not heating properly. Tenant stated that the system wasn’t heating properly and they had another issue recently regarding the heat pump, but got that resolved, and was also informed about running the auxiliary heat during the freezing temperatures. Tenant said that the auxiliary heat worked for a few days, but now it’s not working at all. I checked the system over to find out what’s causing the system to not heat properly. I found the unit on a lockout, had to reset it. On initial inspection I found the filters dirty, gas pressure was a little high and flame sensor dirty as well. Pulled the filters in home, adjusted the gas pressure on furnace to recommended level from manufacturer specifications, and cleaned the flame sensor. The blower assembly could use some cleaning, but the evaporator coil is clean. Cleaned out system of dust, debris, and some mouse droppings, and tested system multiple times to verify proper operation. Unit is now heating properly. R

20JAN2024 Jason Brown Arrived for friends and family fall tune up. Spoke with Michael about the systems performance. He explained that we were out in nov and that the system has been working fine since. Inspected furnace and evap. Checked through all components and safeties. Verified heat rise and gas pressure. Found inducer motor pulling 4 amps and rust present on the gas valve. Blower cap and motor are doing well, and board is working properly. Spoke with Michael about my findings. We decided to get a price for replacement. We’d like the system to last the winter and replace the system all at once, but if the motor does fail we will pull the trigger on replacement. Attached is estimate with same as cash pricing. Thanks guys it’s always good to see yall!

Came out to perform preventative maintenance on furnace. Discussed with customer about maintenance being performed, filter needing changed, and any issues she may be having. Customer stated the filter does need to be changed and that the system is running fine as of right now. I changed the filter in home for customer. Inspected the blower assembly, motor, electrical components, heating components, heat exchangers, drains, and overall condition of equipment. Found blower capacitor reading out of tolerance and customer had me replace that. I cleaned the flame sensor and dust of the burners and components. Checked thermostat operation, zoning, amps, temperatures and gas pressure. Found downstairs thermostat is a little finicky when it comes to changing modes and fan from auto to on. Let customer know that the thermostat will need to be changed eventually due to the inconsistencies when setting it. Customer will look into having it changed out next service. System is heating properly at t

Came out to call for a system not heating properly. Rental manager stated that the tenant hasn’t had heat consistently over the last few days, and the thermostat was blank. I checked the system over and found the unit tripped on high limit and the blower running. Inspected the system and found an improper size filter and the interior parts of the unit completely caked in animal hair, dust, and debris. Discussed with management about the systems age and condition. Came to the conclusion that they needed repair vs replacement options and she will discuss it over with the owner of the property.

Austinz 12/18/24 Completed the furnace tuneup on the carrier equipment in the attic after going through the system, thoroughly and checking all the components. I did not discover any issues on the mechanical operation of the system. I did, however, adjust the gas pressure on the gas valve itself to ensure that it was running at the level it was designed to and not burning off more gas than needed but other than that everything else was in range and working exactly how it should. I didn’t notice that there was some debris inside of the system and a good amount on the blower wheel itself , so I was able to bring up to the customer about putting in the IQ 2000 which has the whole home germicidal machine and filter that wires up and takes care of killing out anything that pulls through the system since she has two filters she would need additional one at a later time, but it’s perfectly fine having just the one as of now But she wants to add the additional filter for the home at a later

Completed duct cleaning for customer. Arrived to job site shortly introduced myself to the customer, customer has been wanting a duct cleaning. customer had been dealing with respiratory issues and has not had a duct cleaning in home in the past 30 years. Customer had been there. After I explained to the customer the step-by-step process on a duct cleaning, I then shortly started my inspection process. Once inspection process began, I checked each vent on each side of the house to make sure that the inner liner of the flex duct was not brittle and would not tear in contact with duct cleaning machine. Once I was able to confirm that it was good to be cleaned, I shortly got started. Shortly after confirmation, I placed down drop sheets in each of the rooms, I took down all the vents, used a contact duct, cleaning machine to clean out the return, and the supplies and home, after I was done with that, I Also cleaned the vent covers with the duct cleaning machine, and then shortly put al
